Adventure Pest and Wildlife is a family-owned business located in Show Low, AZ. Founded by Ken and Rachel (who renamed it from Sutton Weed and Pest Control), the company is built on core values including unrivaled customer service.

Our team consists of experienced, licensed professionals who serve White Mountains and East Valley communities with exceptional care and expertise. Our technicians undergo continuous education and training to maintain their state certifications and stay current with the most effective control methods. Rachel Sutton - Owner

Rachel loves music, reading, and baking, especially indulging in desserts like ice cream and crème brûlée. She’s passionate about learning business strategies and helping others succeed. Running Adventure Pest & Wildlife alongside her husband allows her to explore her interest in wildlife while supporting the community. A memorable moment—discovering a six-inch centipede under her pillow—cemented her belief in the value of reliable pest control.

Ken Sutton - Owner

Ken loves prime rib, enjoys shooting, and admits he’s not the best golfer—though that doesn’t stop him from hitting the green. He finds great satisfaction in co-owning Adventure Pest & Wildlife, where encountering new challenges each day fuels his passion for problem-solving. Ken also stays eager to learn fresh strategies that continuously enhance the company’s services. His dedication to safeguarding homes and families drives him to deliver reliable, high-quality pest control solutions.

Randy Gonzalez - Lead Pest Tech

Randy loves steak, pizza, and Mexican food. He’s an enthusiastic golfer and skilled guitarist who once toured the country as a professional musician. Working at Adventure Pest & Wildlife lets him enjoy the outdoors while connecting with great people. One of his most memorable experiences is winning over a skeptical client who initially disliked seeing a new technician—now, they won’t trust anyone but Randy with their service.

Ben Davis - Pest Tech

Ben is an Air Force veteran, aspiring novelist, and a fan of smoked meats and woodworking. He enjoys working at Adventure Pest & Wildlife because it allows him to stay active, meet great people, and listen to audiobooks on the go. A fun fact about Ben: he once got a perm in high school in an attempt to be “cool.”

Katie Sparks - CSR Manager

Katie loves seafood and sushi and enjoys true crime podcasts, documentaries, and hiking in the great outdoors. Her hidden talent lies in her ability to communicate effectively and find positivity in any situation. Her favorite adventure is taking long hikes, immersing herself in the beauty of wildlife and plants. Katie is passionate about helping others and takes great satisfaction in assisting customers. Her professional goal is to ensure every customer feels valued and cared for by providing the best possible service.

Darren Pettit - Wildlife Consultant

Darren’s favorite cuisine is Italian, and he enjoys football, fishing, hunting, and camping. A father of six, he values the professional and friendly atmosphere at Adventure Pest & Wildlife. His primary goals are to surpass his yearly targets and uphold a positive mindset every step of the way.

Tyler Nelson - Wildlife Technician

Tyler loves steak, Southern BBQ, skydiving, and gaming. Known for his perseverance, he always finds a way to make things work and takes pride in his work. Tyler enjoys Adventure Pest & Wildlife for its great pay, work-life balance, and understanding approach to family time. As a newer team member, his goal is to maximize efficiency each week.

Aliza Dettmers - CSR

Aliza’s favorite cuisine is Italian, and she’s always up for pizza or pasta. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys reading in her free time. Her favorite adventures include heading to the mountains for hiking or snowboarding in the winter. Aliza enjoys working at Adventure Pest & Wildlife because of the amazing team and the company’s strong core values. Her professional goal is to ensure every customer feels supported and their pest and wildlife needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Meagan Mccollom - CSR

Meagan loves seafood, sushi, reading, and gardening, finding peace in nurturing plants. She’s a speed reader who once finished a 900-page book in two days! One of her favorite adventures was hiking the Paradise Cove trail and jumping into a waterfall. Meagan values the compassion at Adventure Pest & Wildlife and strives to exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional service with care.

Lori Portillo - CSR

Lori loves comfort food, fresh seafood, and spending time outdoors, whether hiking, exploring trails, or relaxing at the beach. She enjoys true crime stories, thriller movies, and quality time with family. With a diverse background in non-profits, legal assistance, and running her own Virtual Assistant business, she has a talent for quick problem-solving. At Adventure Pest & Wildlife, she combines her passion for helping others with an efficient, empathetic approach, ensuring both the team and customers have the best experience possible.
